City of Parramatta have an exciting leadership opportunity working in the Waste & Cleaning team as the Team Leader Cleansing. About the role As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team member by overseeing all activities, planning, organising and deciding how to accomplish set tasks, goal setting and distribution of information. Key Responsibilities: Undertake the day-to-day management of staff and their assigned tasks. Undertake planning, goal setting, task, and resource allocation for the team, to ensure a program of works are completed effectively. Ensure completion of all necessary administration functions. Mentor new starters and others within the team. Work alongside a team member to complete daily works such as litter picking, pressure washing, amenities cleaning within the public domain. About You We are looking for someone with: Previous experience leading a team in an operational environment. Current MR Driver’s license White card Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role. Strong communication skills Ability to manage and coordinate daily work schedules Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances What’s on offer Permanent Full-Time opportunity.
