Reporting to the Regional Laboratory Manager , the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations related to sample dispatch, data entry, test result tracking, and documentation. The role requires regular coordination with departments to ensure the efficient functioning of laboratory operations. What you will be doing: Supervise daily collection of blood, urine, stool, and swab samples. Ensure proper labelling, quality control, and timely dispatch of specimens. Perform venipuncture according to established protocols. Manage stock, equipment maintenance, and documentation. Prepare monthly staff rosters and oversee team performance. Mentor and train CLAs to ensure efficient service delivery. Maintain high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism What are we looking for? Higher School Certificate (science subjects preferred); professional lab certificate desirable. 8+ years’ lab experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Computer literacy and knowledge of infection control policies. Strong planning, organizational, supervisory, and customer service skills. Patience, attention to detail, and ability to connect with diverse patients.
