JOB DESCRIPTION:
Libertas is an established domiciliary care provider throughout Lincolnshire. We are the lead provider for home care in the Bourne areas for Lincolnshire County Council Adult Social Care.
The Team Leader role is to ensure that the highest level of care is given our service users and to provide guidance to support workers to improve performance. This means carrying out service user reviews and spot checks where required.
We are looking for a team leader who is forward thinking with a strong knowledge of care and preferably with previous leadership experience. We are very willing to consider people who have limited leadership experience but are driven to learn and develop within the support work sector.
Responsibilities
· Conduct observations on Team members to promote best practice
· Carry out reviews with Service Users to ensure quality person-centred care
· Lead a team of support workers
· To work within safeguarding guidelines, confidentiality and GDPR
· To ensure compliance with CQC guidelines and regulations
What we require from you
· Must have at least a year’s support worker experience
· Must have your own car/ full driving licence
· Ideally level 3 qualified in Health and Social Care (or level 2 in Health and Social Care but be willing to work towards level 3)
· A positive and forward-thinking attitude to work
· Strong problem solving and communication skills
