Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE…

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team to meet daily targets, maintaining high-quality standards, promoting a safe work environment, and ensuring efficient service delivery to keep our customers satisfied.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead your team on-site at the APG Victoria Distribution Centre, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing and managing the dispatch team in an efficient manner and within set time frames.
  • Coordinate the dispatch processing of goods and provide support to your team, ensuring workloads are prioritised to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure that safety is a top priority, promoting a safety-first culture on the job.
    About you, Skills and Experience…
    We are looking for someone with the right attitude, ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.

We are looking for a Leading Hand who has:

  • A good understanding of ERP systems.
  • Demonstrate prior experience as a Leading Hand or similar role.
  • Knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation.
  • Highly developed problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach.
  • With excellent communication skills, you build great relationships.
  • Forklift Licence (desirable)
  • Basic computer knowledge.
