KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, you will lead a small team of packers and truck loaders
• Ensure efficient, accurate and timely packing of all despatch orders
• Coach, develop and provide full training to all team members and temporary workers
• Unloading and loading of linehaul trucks using a sack barrow, as required
• Provide technical expertise and knowledge and advice to team and others
• Champion health and safety practices and policies
• Promote quality and food safety standards
• Create a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication & ongoing process improvement
• Work collaboratively with other functions including Maintenance, Production, and the site leadership team

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure people and food safety compliance during the dispatch process. This involves conducting thorough checks to confirm compliance before stock is signed over from the production team. You will lead the Dispatch team, ensuring all procedures are followed and standards are met, while building team capability and knowledge. This role reinforces our commitment to being the “Most trusted brand”.
We’re currently seeking a Team Leader to join our Dispatch team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role operates on the following shift schedule:
