Dolphin Healthcare is currently hiring for a care coordinator/Team Leader to join our team. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be well organised. The coordinator must have ACCESS TO OWN VEHICLE with a UK driving licence and willing to travel to the homes of our Service users in Birmingham, Sandwell and Worcestershire
The Care Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the care team, ensuring that high-quality support is provided to clients. This position requires a compassionate and organised individual who can lead a team effectively while fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients. The Care Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating care plans, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in office management tasks, including record keeping and scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, essential for team coordination and care plan implementation
  • Familiarity with developing and managing care plans for Service Users
  • Valid driving license to facilitate transportation needs
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic IT skills to support administrative functions and documentation
  • Proven Experience in Domiciliary care service and Team Leading role
  • NVQ Level 5 or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience in Domiciliary Care Management software.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £13.50-£13.74 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new team members, promoting best practices in client care.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to health and safety.
