We have an exciting new opportunity for a Team Leader wishing to be part of our team. The successful candidate will be overseeing a team of Support Workers and be supported by the Area Manager. This post is suitable for someone who has experience of working with individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities and will have the privilege of being part of supporting this individual into their first home living independently with the support from Enable.
The Team Leader’s time will be split between actively providing support and admin where the Team Leader will perform quality assurance tasks in line with CQC standards and regulations. It is essential that all candidates hold a full UK Driving Licence.

You will have experience of leading teams in a social care or similar environment, the key components of the role;
· To devise and complete rotas in advance ensuring staff and service users hours are met.
· To be a role model within your team by working to the highest standards. To coach and mentor your team to achieve the daily, weekly, monthly and annual objectives for the individuals you support.
· To proactively address any potential conflict within the team and to remain professional at all times.
· To devise, complete and review care plans and all other documents that relate to a service users care and support. To ensure that any risks associated with a service are captured within risk assessments and are regularly reviewed and updated.
· To perform an analysis on service user documentation at regular intervals ensuring that findings are fed back to the team e.g. ABC, Incident/Accident Forms, Food/Fluid Charts.
· To ensure that your team are working in a safe environment and in line with current Health and Safety legislation
· To participate in an on-call rota
We have a variety of shift patterns available across 7 days. Shift examples include;
Day Hours
07:00-19:00
07:00-13:00 or 13:00-19:00
Night Hours
19:00-07:00
It is an expectation that a Team Leader would work a mix of week days and weekend days. As this is a new service and we expect the person we are supporting to be able to move into their own property in the future, the shift timings could change in order to cover a 24/7 period.
