We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to lead our evening Environmental Services team. As a Team Leader, you will ensure that patient rooms, public areas, and equipment are impeccably cleaned according to our established procedures. You will also coordinate and work closely with our Environmental Services Aides to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities: Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area. Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair. Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor. Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments. Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor. Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor. Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures. In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor. Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned.
