Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage   National Parks and Wildlife Service has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader Field Operations to work as part of the close-knit and high performing team working in the Northern Tablelands Area.   About the role As a Team Leader Field Operations, you will manage day to day planning, development, implementation, management and delivery of approved works, projects and maintenance programs ensuring completion within required deadlines, quality, environmental and construction and safety standards and at or below approved budgets. You will lead and supervise field staff across a wide geographic area, and co-ordinate works program planning and reporting across the area as well as monitor and report on works program expenditure.   As part of a management team you will working closely with the Area Manager and Team Leader Ranger to ensure the delivery of priority projects and programs. Through leadership and the fostering of a professional culture amongst all staff you will assist your team in delivering work to a high standard across the Northern Tablelands Area.  You will lead a team of operational field staff through your direct reports of five senior field officers.   About You Your passion for your community and environment, coupled with proven leadership, people management and project management experience and a strong attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. Together with your excellent planning, prioritisation, safety and management skill will help you deliver an extensive annual works program across the region.
