We are looking for a Team Leader for the Financial Lines Multinational Service team, to be based in our Multinational Excellence Centre in Madrid. Your Team Our Allianz Multinational Insurance Program team is a dedicated group of specialists who deliver our unique selling proposition (USP) through technical excellence, the Allianz network, and a relentless focus on clients. We aim to increase the knowledge of our Global Team to enhance the Client Experience through our technical capabilities, internal collaboration and to set the tone for our Multinational growth. As part of our newly established Multinational Excellence Centre in Spain, you will at first report to our Head of Business Model Transformation and Process Redesign and become part of a global and dynamic team of Multinational professionals. The Impact You Will Have You will be responsible for leading a talented team of Multinational Insurance Program Service Experts, implementing our Financial Lines portfolio and ensuring excellent service delivery and high motivation for all. You will support the implementation of large-scale process improvements and strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and optimize operations. You will ensure the upskilling of your Multinational Excellence Centre team and build solid relationships with the Allianz stakeholders worldwide. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Lead a team of multinational insurance program service experts according to Allianz standards and with the highest integrity, including performance management and development of individuals Ensure that your team’s portfolio of accounts is managed in an efficient and timely manner Monitor KPIs and capacity with clear and frequent team communication, aligning with stakeholders and delivering reports, ensuring that targets are met (Service Level Agreements including availability, IIP service performance, response, cost, quality) Develop, manage and sustain effective working relationships with all key local and regional stakeholders Plan and steer resources and workloads within your team Play an active role in change management initiatives across the Multinational Excellence Centre, collaborating closely with your line management to roll out new procedures and products Participate in regional / global projects where required What You’ll Bring to the Role You are an experienced professional in the insurance industry with strong leadership skills and a hands-on understanding of multinational insurance programs. You bring a passion for working in a diverse, cross-functional team in an international and dynamic corporate environment. You are quickly operational in Madrid and ideally have: 5 years’ experience in multinational insurance operations or Underwriting Leadership experience (eg. running a major project or working group) Excellent understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages Experience acting as the technical referral point for the team, for complex issues and queries Able to motivate others in their daily tasks along with bigger picture view Experience leading local/regional/global initiatives with knowledge of lean best practices Keen interest in training, developing and coaching Able to independently drive data quality, analysis and to present clear results with actions Experience with transformation, process improvement or change management Ease with IT, and experience applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making Fluency in English, with knowledge of Spanish and other languages a distinct plus 81824 | Operations | Management | Non-Executive | Allianz Commercial | Full-Time | Permanent
