Challenges you will tackle:

• You lead the Fleet Manager team both professionally and disciplinarily, develop your employees and ensure the successful onboarding of new drivers.
• You are responsible for the economic and operational management of our own fleet, plan driver assignments according to demand and ensure efficient order processing.
• You support the operational day-to-day business, ensure smooth processes and continuously develop our operations to sustainably increase efficiency and quality.
• You analyse relevant KPIs, derive optimisation measures and implement them consistently to improve our operational performance.
• You conduct regular driver meetings, ensure compliance with legal requirements and work closely with the Technical Procurement and Human Resources departments.

Qualifications that convince us:

• Several years of professional experience in transport or freight forwarding logistics.
• Experience in leading and developing teams as well as managing operational processes.
• Sound knowledge of fleet management and a confident understanding of relevant legal requirements and regulations.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high level of numerical and results orientation.
• Structured working approach, initiative and the ability to actively drive change.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a confident professional presence when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
