WEEKEND: £17.00 PER HOUR.

CHD Care at Home is part of CHD Living’s award-winning group of care services. We created our domiciliary care offering to help give some peace of mind to our clients living at home and their families.
Our client is a younger gentleman who will be living in Worthing, West Sussex. He is a highly intelligent person with a brilliant sense of humour. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys going out and about. Our client is a self- confessed foodie so would like someone who is able to cook healthy, well balanced meals.
He currently requires two care staff during the day and two staff at night during his recovery journey following a life changing injury. He requires support with his day to day living including supporting with prescribed exercises, attending appointments.
We are looking for someone with a cheerful, caring, and positive attitude with a good sense of humour.
You will be working alongside the care team to deliver support to the client in addition to completing supernumerary hours each week.
CHD Care at Home is seeking professional, reliable, kind Team Leader who is flexible and can work as part of a dedicated team to our lovely client in their new home.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience is required and the desire and passion to work with vulnerable people needing your care and attention is essential.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent NVQ/QCF L3 (or equivalent recognised qualification or experience)
Must be able to drive and hold a full UK drivers license.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain relationships with Client’s family, friends, external support team, advocates and neighbours.
· To ensure that all staff members complete mandatory and skills-based training as required for the role.
· Undertake direct care tasks as necessary together with a Health Care Support Worker to ensure tasks are carried out in an appropriate manner and participate in shift working.
· To oversee documentation of care, signing off documentation completed as required.
· Contribute to the documentation, care planning and assessment of care needs for the Client.
· Support with the implementation, review and evaluation of the client care plans and risk assessments.
· Participate in the development, training and supervision of staff.
· Plan rota’s to ensure a suitable skill mix of staff. Support with ensuring cover for periods of annual leave or sickness.
