In this role you will support Service Managers to lead a cluster of services providing person centered support to children and adults with Learning Disabilities, ASD and/or Mental Health Conditions. JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work alongside a Service Manager to oversee a small cluster of services in Gateshead, Newcastle or North Tyneside where you will lead the teams to provide the highest quality support.
You will typically provide 30 hours per week of direct support and 10 hours management from our head office in North Tyneside where you will complete various quality and compliance tasks, complete duty rotas, liaise with professionals and carry out coaching, supervision and observations for your team. You will be required to carry out ‘on call’ duties as part of a rota.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with adults with learning disabilities, ASD, Mental Health Conditions and challenging behaviour
- Has an NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or is willing to work towards this
- Has a good understanding of CQC Regulations and other relevant legislation
- Has a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle they will use for work
- Can work flexibly including overnight support where required.
- Is able to carry out moving and handling tasks as required
Experience of managing a team is desirable
