Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai. The Team Leader / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving regional business growth, leading and mentoring a team of Stem Cell Counsellors, and strengthening partnerships with hospitals and healthcare professionals. . Tasks Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Stem Cell Counsellors within the assigned region. Motivate team members, ensure adherence to KRAs and SOPs, and drive maximum productivity. Keep the team updated on the latest industry developments and organizational initiatives. Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to enhance team performance and consistently achieve enrolment targets for stem cell banking services. Client Interaction, Doctor Visits & Counselling: Accompany team members on client meetings, counselling sessions, doctor visits, and other field activities on a periodic basis to monitor performance and provide on-the-job guidance. Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and evaluate individual and team performance against defined metrics. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and actionable insights to improve outcomes. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through timely follow-ups, ensuring a smooth, professional, and positive experience with Cryoviva’s services. Documentation & Reporting: Supervise end-to-end documentation related to client enrolments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of sales reports and client data. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to align sales efforts, improve service delivery, and optimize overall business performance. Requirements Experience in team leadership or supervision, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or sales. Strong communication and people-management skills. Knowledge of stem cell banking/biotech services is an advantage. Good understanding of sales strategy, client management, and team coordination.
