JOB TITLE: TEAM LEADER (X5 VACANCIES)

Location: Peterborough (PE1, PE7)
Salary: £14.75 per hour (based on 40 hours per week)
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per sleep-in shift

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for five experienced and motivated Team Leaders to join our Ofsted-regulated children’s residential services in Peterborough. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting young people and leading a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential.
• Previous experience in a children’s residential care setting.
• Full UK driving licence – strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people.

• Support and guide a team of care staff in delivering outstanding care to children and young people.
• Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of residents.
• Lead shifts and ensure effective handovers.
• Maintain high standards in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and behaviour management.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members.
