ABOUT US…

Want to grow your career while helping people find a job they love?
At Breakthru, you won’t be stuck behind a desk — you’ll be out in the community, working side-by-side with clients where it matters most.
As part of the Royal Rehab Group, you’ll be backed by one of Australia’s most respected not-for-profits, with over 125 years of experience delivering life-changing disability and rehabilitations services. This means you’ll have the stability, resources, and support to grow your career and make a real impact in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

Breakthru is proud to be selected by the Department of Social Services to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland. This means we’ll be supporting more people than ever to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers — and we’re growing our team to help make it happen.
Leading the team across the Canterbury Bankstown Employment Service Area (ESA), as a Team Leader you’ll play a hands-on role in guiding and supporting the team to deliver person-centered support, helping clients build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful sustainable work. Working closely with employers, you’ll strengthen partnerships that create real opportunities for inclusive employment. This role is all about coaching your team to achieve outcomes, driving performance, and making a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working under the guidance of the ESA’s Service Manager, mentor and support a high-performing team, driving results and fostering growth.
  • Ensure the ongoing development of your team to build a deeper understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
  • Guide clients into meaningful work through trust, empathy, and personalised support.
  • Build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.
  • Champion Breakthru’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
