QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have at least 3 years post qualification experience.
Experience of working with Children is desirable.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of leading and supporting a team.
Candidates must demonstrate leadership and planning skills, along with the ability to set, action and follow through with identifying goals for each individual child in partnership with parents.
Candidates must have the ability to exercise good judgement, discretion, confidentiality, be creative, self-motivated, communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, and co-operate in a team environment with a person-centred philosophy.
Candidates must promote a welcoming positive atmosphere for staff, children and visitors who use the building.
Candidates must set a quality standard in accordance with Tusla regulations that satisfy inspections.
Candidates must have a full clean driving licence.
Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.

Brothers of Charity Services Ireland – West Region, Children’s Services provide Centre-based respite and community-based outreach services using a person-centered approach to meet the needs of children with Intellectual Disabilities. The Role: The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services. The CNM1/SCL must provide leadership in the development of the service in line with Personal Outcomes Measures and future service requirements. The CNM1/SCL must be familiar with Tusla Childcare regulations 2016 and be the person in charge of the service, Ensuring the holistic wellbeing of children and have excellent communication skills linking with families and members of the MDT.
