Role Overview Surbana Jurong is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified professionals for the position of Team Leader / Irrigation Engineer for a proposed construction supervision assignment in Uzbekistan. The role will lead the supervision of irrigation and water infrastructure works, ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead construction supervision activities for irrigation and water infrastructure projects. Coordinate with clients, contractors, government authorities, and project stakeholders. Supervise irrigation networks, canals, pipelines, pumping stations, and hydraulic structures. Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC and/or World Bank requirements. Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. Review contractors’ submissions, payment applications, variations, and project documentation. Prepare technical reports and provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Hydraulic, Irrigation Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred). Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 8 years in irrigation infrastructure projects. Proven experience in construction supervision of irrigation and water infrastructure works. Experience on World Bank or other MDB-funded projects of similar scale. Strong knowledge of FIDIC and/or World Bank Conditions of Contract. Experience delivering at least two similar projects as Team Leader. Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software, with excellent English communication skills.
