JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to supervise our dynamic food production and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food quality, ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in fostering a positive work atmosphere and delivering high quality product.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in food production, with a strong background in supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, GMP techniques and regulations is essential.
  • Experienced in food production machinery is highly desirable.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of BRC/ HACCP
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise operations, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Manage and train production staff, to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Coordinate food preparation and production processes to ensure timely service .
  • Closely monitoring quality, CCP’s and ensure correct completion of documentation.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork among staff members.
  • Address any issues or conflicts within the team promptly and effectively to maintain morale.
  • Ensure the team is adhering to H&S procedures
