Description

Are you ready for the next step in your career?
If you are organised, self-motivated, and interested in developing and supporting others, this could be the role for you!
We’re offering a very rewarding role in which you will be challenged and your leadership skills developed. We are a caring and supportive team, and we pride ourselves on our extensive, in-house training programme. We support individuals to regain their independence following an accident or a period of illness, and we help them to remain in their own home.

As a Team Leader you will:

  • Support and manage a team of Support Workers
  • Oversee client review visits
  • Lead and develop key areas of the service, for example medication and Equality & Diversity
  • Be the first point of contact for Support Workers for advice, including at evenings and weekends.

We are looking to invest in talented individuals who want to connect with people. Experience in communicating with clients and professionals, accurately recording information, and working in a fast-paced environment will stand you in good stead for the position of Team Leader. Experience in care, however, is not essential.
To apply for this role, please follow the ‘Apply Now’ button above and upload your CV and a Cover Letter. We will be using your Cover Letter to shortlist so please be sure to address how you meet all the criteria in the person specification, drawing on any relevant work/life experience, education, or personal interests.
Please download the Job Description and Person Specification
Interviews will be held face to face at Firwood House, Brassey Avenue, Eastbourne within two weeks of the closing date of the advert.

In return we can offer you:

  • Comprehensive training, including in managing staff
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Excellent peer and managerial support
  • An attractive pension and Annual Leave package
