You’ll lead and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring exceptional care and outcome-focused support at every step. Every day will bring challenges — but also incredible rewards as you witness the progress and empowerment of those you support. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the day-to-day operations alongside the Service Manager. Promoting daily independence in the people we support. Supervising and mentoring Support Workers. Safely administering prescribed medication. Allocating duties effectively across the team. Championing person-centred care and positive relationships with the people we support and their families. Maintaining accurate, respectful records. Promoting safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practices at all times. 🔍 What We're Looking For: Previous experience supporting adults with mental health conditions or learning disabilities in an inpatient setting or challenging environment. Knowledge and experience working with drug and alcohol addiction would be advantageous. Leadership experience or a strong desire to take the next step into a leadership role. Empathy, resilience, and dedication to making a difference. A team player with excellent communication skills. Ideally, Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
