Team Leader Learn to Swim | Tepid Baths (Auckland Central) He angitūtanga: The opportunity Tepid Baths is offering a permanent opportunity for a passionate and experienced Learn to Swim Team Leader to join our vibrant team.  This role sits at the heart of our Swim School, playing a key part in delivering high‑quality, safe, and inclusive swim education for tamariki, rangatahi, and adults across our community. You’ll be leading a dedicated team while ensuring our programmes are engaging, well‑run, and aligned with best practice. As the team leader, you’ll be actively involved in: Leading and mentoring a team of swim instructors Overseeing programming and lesson quality Supporting day-to-day operations, including teaching when needed Managing customer service and resolving issues on-site Collaborating with internal teams to deliver community-focused initiatives You’ll also play a key role in health and safety leadership, staff development, and ensuring compliance with sector standards and Auckland Council policies. This is an on-site position. This is a permanent, on-site, 40-hour full-time position. Currently rostered Sunday - Thursday, from 10:30am - 7pm weekdays and 7:30am - 3pm on Sundays. As the swim school operates seven days per week, shifts may vary in line with the roster and operational needs of the center; therefore, flexibility and availability to work weekdays, weekends, and rostered hours are essential.   He kōrero mōu: About you You’re a confident leader with a strong background in swim instruction and a genuine passion for community wellbeing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to creating positive experiences for both your team and our customers.
