Description

Part time, 28 days per week. Day shifts.

Moray Lodge supports people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments and learning disabilities to live independently in their own home.

  • A night enhancement of £1.00 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Thursday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend enhancement of £1.00 per hour will be paid from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).

As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks. Supporting our Person Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations.

Responsibilities
  • Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Have experience in supervising a team.
  • Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
  • Be experienced in working within a care setting.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
