Job Title: Team Leader - Supported Accommodation (Maternity Leave Cover)
Salary: £29,800 - £33,000 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term, 14 Months
Location: Stoke-On-Trent and Crewe area
Rota: 40 hours per week Monday-Sunday, this would include one weekend per month.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on update system or willing to obtain one (Required)
  • Level 3/4 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in Supported Accommodation, residential or support settings
  • Strong leadership skill set
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Team Leader in the Stoke-On-Trent and Crewe area to join our dedicated team. As a Team Leader you will support the Registered Service Manager in the day-to-day runnings of your allocated homes, assisting in the management and development of the allocation and support staff to drive the delivery of excellent quality support for the Young People.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Coordinating a team of Support Coordinators and Support Workers to ensure they are consistently delivering outstanding service to our Young People
  • Monitoring team performance and providing constructive feedback
  • Completing audits for the services you oversee within your allocations
  • Attending core meetings for Young People
  • Setting team rotas, managing absences, and coordinating holiday leave
  • Leading by example, setting targets, and motivating team members
  • Ensuring service standards remain high and continually looking for ways to improve
  • Making sure the team always adheres to Company’s polices and procedures as well as adhering to all supported accommodation regulations set by Ofsted
  • On call responsibilities are required for your role as Team Leader
  • To have great understanding of the SCIFF and continue ongoing support for the Registered Service Manager for each service we provide
