Type: Permanent Hours: Full time Location: Wellington Business Group: Archives & National Library Branch: Partnerships & Commissions Salary: $109,697 - $136,512 Join us to lead one of our Metadata Services teams, with a focus on metadata for published collections. This is a key role that supports metadata delivery at National Library Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa and influences metadata across Archives and National Library. In this role you will: Provide leadership and operational management for metadata services teams, overseeing day-to-day cataloguing operations for published collections Manage team workload and workflow, ensuring integration and effective relationships with other teams and alignment of processes across directorates Foster a high-performing team with a resilient and flexible culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement Support innovation in metadata creation and enhancement, including the application of mātauranga Māori and the implementation of digital technologies Contribute to policy and process development and support the Manager Metadata Services in providing advice and leadership to Archives Library services and sector-wide metadata initiatives NLNZ has almost completed its implementation of Official RDA, making this an excellent opportunity for the appointee to develop knowledge in the new standard and contribute to its successful delivery.
