Your Opportunity Inner West Services supports adult men, women and young people who are at the risk of homelessness, focusing on sustaining tenancies and stabilizing housing. As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both clients and staff in the effective delivery of program activities that align with Mission Australia’s values and outcomes. Reporting to the People Leader, you’ll guide a team of passionate professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients through high-quality case management, strong leadership, and continuous improvement in service delivery. This role offers the opportunity to lead with purpose, using your experience and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive and empowering environment for both clients and employees. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead, coach, and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client-focused service delivery Work across various programs within the Inner West and Inner City Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring compliance with Mission Australia policies and procedures. Provide person-centred and strength-based case management support for clients with complex needs. Ensure the delivery of quality services through effective supervision, case review, and continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support positive outcomes for clients. Oversee administrative and compliance requirements, including client records, reports, and data accuracy. Contribute to service development and represent the program at relevant network and stakeholder meetings. Requirements for Success A relevant Degree/Diploma in either Social Work, Community Services, Welfare or Psychology with experience, or equivalent combination of qualifications and substantial experience in a related field Demonstrated leadership or team supervision experience, including mentoring, coaching and performance management Proven experience in case management particularly with clients experiencing complex challenges Ability to plan, coordinate and oversee program activities effectively Strong administrative and organisational skills with experience maintaining compliance and reporting standards Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills Sound understanding of relevant legislation, policy and service frameworks Drivers’ Licence Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, and WWCC.
