JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated team leader to lead the night operations of our tram presentation team. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 20 cleaning operatives, ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency is maintained across both of our tram depots.
This role requires strong people management, excellent organisational skills, and operational leadership. The ideal candidate must have great interpersonal skills and must have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead, support and motivate a team of around 20 operatives.
- Conduct regular safety briefings to the team and ensure all health and safety requirements are being adhered to.
- Arrange and assign tasks for the vehicle presentation team on a nightly basis.
- Conduct audits & quality inspections and challenge any poor standards.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience within cleaning, facilities, or transport environments.
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve challenges.
• Comfortable using basic IT systems such as Microsoft word & excel.

• The successful candidate must have a full UK drivers’ licence.

  Desirable Qualifications:

• Team leader experience.

• First Aid or emergency response training.
