The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our Supported Independent Living team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of day-to-day operations, mentoring support workers, championing participant wellbeing, and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are maintained across your homes. This is a hands-on leadership role where your compassion, accountability, and commitment to our values will directly shape the lives of the people we support. Your Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and day to day supervision to a team of support workers across SIL homes Act as the first point of contact for support workers, participants, and families, fostering open and respectful communication Ensure all supports are delivered in a person-centred way, aligned with each participant's NDIS plan and individual goals Oversee compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and LME Care's internal policies to maintain safe and consistent service delivery Respond promptly to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and escalations, completing all required documentation accurately and on time Coordinate with allied health professionals, support coordinators, and families to support holistic participant outcomes Coach and develop support workers through regular check ins, on the job guidance, and performance conversations Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the quality, safety, and experience of care What You'll Bring Genuine alignment with LME Care's values, especially empathy, respect, and empowering all stakeholders to live their best lives Appropriate experience, leadership and qualifications within the disability, aged care, or community services sector Strong knowledge of the NDIS, person centred approaches, and relevant legislation Why Join LME Care?
