Your tasks:

As team leader, you and your team ensure, through efficient processes, that our customers receive their goods at the right time and in the right place, and that our production is supplied with raw materials.

  • Disciplinary and professional management responsibility for the entire department (12 employees) consisting of leading, evaluating and developing the entire logistics team.
  • Planning, coordination, monitoring and improvement of material flows and internal handling processes in the areas of goods receipt, warehousing, order picking, material provision, packaging and goods dispatch
  • Responsibility for the proper packaging and storage of goods and inventory (physical and system-related in the ERP system)
  • Ensuring the availability of auxiliary and operating materials in the area of ​​packaging and means of transport
  • Interface for operational issues with production and planning departments
  • Develop and implement solutions in the field of operational logistics

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in logistics management or logistics master craftsman with professional experience; alternatively, freight forwarding and logistics clerk with further training as a specialist and many years of professional experience (at least 10 years)
  • Experience in operational shipping, warehousing and distribution logistics with initial management experience
  • Assertive, decisive, hands-on, strong communication skills, analytical, structured, goal-oriented, independent and dynamic work style
  • Basic knowledge of SAP WM is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of customs and export control law
