Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Davenport Function: Operations (CA) Title: Team Leader, Operations - 120200 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Team Leader, Production for the John Deere Construction & Forestry Fabrication division located in Davenport, IA, you will: Lead a production team to execute safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals through Continuous Improvement (CI) plans and activities Communicate job expectations; facilitate training and certification requirements; coaching and setting high standards on performance Elevate our safety culture through effective communications, leading by example, driving engagement in proactive risk identification and a focus on implementing thorough safety corrective actions VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions Troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex equipment and systems Ability to work variable shifts including off-shifts, weekends, and OT as business needs What Makes You Standout Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, lean manufacturing, and 5S. Responsibilities
