JOB TITLE: Production Lead – Central Area
REPORTING TO: Sr. Production Supervisor


Position Details: 
The Production Lead will oversee the following functions CMM/Blast/Twas/ECPLine (Central Area)
You will be responsible for ensuring employees are adhering to Company policy, procedures and that health and safety is being always adhered to.
You will work closely with your team to ensure they are fully competent in their roles and to assist with any necessary training to improve on quality, progress, or outcome of customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team is following schedules in line with customer demand, assisting with any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure that the Supervisor is immediately made aware of any possible issues that could potentially delay shipment of goods.
  • Identify any skill gaps within your team and then work with the Supervisors on necessary training program.
  • Monitor and highlight any equipment or facility issues to the Supervisor.
  • Regularly discuss with your team possible improvements that can be made and discuss these possible changes with your Supervisor.
  • Ensure that their areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and housekeeping is up to date within their areas.
  • Discuss any employee related issues with Supervisor or HR.
  • Work with Supervisors to develop potential solutions to improve production performance.
  • Attend regular meetings with Supervisors to overcome outstanding issues and report on existing production in your area.
  • Train and monitor new employees in the area.
  • Manage holiday schedules and monitor time and attendance.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as Team Leader or similar role (2+ Years)
  • Recognise training needs and ability to mentor and assist employees.
  • Confident at problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office
  • Ability to motivate and encourage team members.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • People Management.

Educational/Certification:

  • Minimum Leaving Cert or equivalent.
