Job Mission As Team leader Outbound Large Pack, your first mission is to organize, inspire, develop and lead your team to ensure a high performance and cost efficient Logistics operation. To achieve this you will set priorities, delegate tasks, and develop your team. You will identify and resolve potential bottlenecks. The Large Pack team is responsible for packing the large materials coming out of the factory. This is also a position for those who want to grow in their job, because you will initiate and lead several improvement initiatives that will bring the Outbound Large Pack Operation to a higher performance level. This is a position for someone who enjoys to take up challenges and manages his team to deliver measurable results while enjoying the rewards. Job Description The Team leader Large Pack is responsible for the following: Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for the Large Pack team Quality: Secure the required quality of the delivered output. Set up improvement plans and implement these for your department Operational performance: Lead your team to meet delivery reliability, cycle time and cost targets. Solve problems, set priorities, ensure that operational objectives are achieved within the department. Inform stakeholders (in and outside the department) in case of deviations. Report regularly on the realized performance versus target Support: Organize all supporting processes in order to be able to realize the deliverables in time Infrastructure: Ensure the required infrastructure to assure effective and efficient logistic execution Management: Ensure adequate organization and staffing to realize output at optimized cost levels. Ensure proper execution of HR&O policies and procedures. Coach and develop team members, set targets, delegate tasks, set priorities, solve problems and contribute to a productive and pleasant work environment Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement organizational improvements for the Outbound – Large Pack operation in terms of processes, products and people capabilities. Drive improvement projects within the department and organize opportunities for employees to contribute and execute within projects that contribute to the Logistics Operations mission and vision. Support & lead LEAN improvements, including 5S+1. Contribute to cross-sector improvement projects Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other LO teams, ASML departments and Logistics Service Providers Education MBO+/HBO level (logistics discipline or industrial/business engineering) Experience The applicant is required to have extensive knowledge and experience in Minimum of 3 years in a leading position within warehouse logistics or comparable logistics functions Warehousing & supporting processes SAP ECC/EWM knowledge Problem analysis, asses potential solutions on feasibility and impact on the total process Organizing, developing and coaching of teams Continuous process improvement Personal Skills Enthusiastic people leader (Good interpersonal skills, motivator, team builder, coach) Effective communication, collaboration and presentation skills both in English and Dutch language Customer oriented Goal-oriented, flexible and drive for initiative Able to think in end-to-end processes and understanding the bigger picture Able to make (last minute) changes happen Strong analytics, structured in his/her approach, persistent Experience with change management (both process and people related) Context of the position The Logistics Operation department within ASML is responsible for both inbound logistics (receipt, storage, inspection, picking, cleaning & kitting and delivery to production) and outbound logistics (planning, cleaning, labeling, packing and shipment of ASML’s products) for all Veldhoven factories. Working location: The Netherlands, Veldhoven The Team Leader Outbound Large Pack will be working in Support shift and will be leading a team of approximately 15 FTE in support schedule (2 shifts). In this position you report to the Manager Outbound. A certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar’, VGB) and successful completion of the ‘Known Consignor training’ (Medewerker Luchtvracht) is required.
