The Eurofins Agroscience Group is one of the leading service providers in Europe, we conduct field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new substances and organisms for humans and the environment. We are experts in conducting global field studies according to GEP and GLP, worker exposure studies, ecotoxicology, product chemistry, physico-chemical property testing and environmental fate studies.
In addition, we support our customers at every stage of the approval process. Our in-house team of regulatory experts works together with our network of field stations, laboratories and carefully selected partners.
To strengthen our Eurofins Agroscience Services GmbH laboratory at the Niefern-Öschelbronn site, we are looking to fill the following position as soon as possible: Team Leader Physical Chemistry (m/f/d).
Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have successfully completed your studies in a scientific field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in team leadership and development is helpful but not required.
  • You enjoy taking on responsibility and understand that teamwork leads to greater success for everyone.
  • You have hands-on experience in instrumental analytics (HPLC, GC, IC), physical chemistry, or microbiology.
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You are flexible and well-organized.
  • You possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • You have an independent working style and a high willingness to learn.
  • Ideally, you have experience working under GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).
Responsibilities
  • You will lead and motivate a team of 5–10 people, supporting their development opportunities and addressing their needs.
  • You will prepare, review, and approve proposals that will lead to projects for you and your team.
  • You will support the department and laboratory management with organization, administration, and other tasks.
  • You will be in constant contact with internal and external clients, building and maintaining close relationships over time.
  • You will keep an overview of your team’s projects.
  • At the end of projects, you will prepare test reports and statements in English, which, upon submission to regulatory authorities, can directly impact the approval of substances.
  • You will work under GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) to ensure thorough documentation of all processes, so that you always have a clear overview of your studies.
