WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team within Global Operations
  • Promotion of staff development and coaching of employees within the team
  • Management of KIT and logistics projects
  • Project controlling and monitoring of project progress as well as ensuring the achievement of objectives.
  • Management and further development of the respective area (GOL1) in all relevant aspects, e.g. material planning, engineering and warehouse management. 
  • Creation of the corresponding project plan in coordination with the associated departments, as well as management, maintenance and further development of ongoing projects within KIT Logistics.
  • Creation and management of project plans, including time, budget, and resource planning.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

  • Successfully completed studies in logistics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management related to supply chain, logistics or materials management
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing companies is an advantage.
  • Ideally, initial management experience or experience in a professional leadership role.
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics planning as well as process analysis and optimization.
  • Experience with SAP, especially in WM or EWM, is desirable.
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
