Pilatus is hiring a Team Leader Procurement to join our offices in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Procurement Managers to ensure supplier performance aligns with contractual terms and real-time business needs. You will oversee procurement operations in the US and are responsible for supply continuity for the Pilatus Group worldwide from US-based suppliers. This responsibility includes procurement of aircraft components for new and in-service aircraft, as well as procurement of MRO services for in-service components. A successful person in this position will be a proactive, strategic leader with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role; aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier agreements
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and supply chain analytics to drive data-driven decisions
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks with strategic foresight
  • Proficiency with procurement and supply chain management software
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders across diverse business functions
  • Knowledge of standard procurement contract terms and conditions, including ITAR compliance requirements and aircraft component certification
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.62

Responsibilities
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of Procurement Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and procurement best practices
  • Oversees the management of supplier performance across North America, holding suppliers accountable to contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develops and implements procurement strategies to enhance supplier performance, mitigates risks, supports cost reduction initiatives, and ensures supply continuity
  • Serves as an escalation point for supplier issues, facilitating swift resolution and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Fosters cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, engineering, finance, and operations teams, to ensure procurement goals are met for the Pilatus Group
  • Negotiates high-value supplier agreements, ensuring favorable pricing, contract terms, and strategic partnerships
  • Monitors and analyzes supply chain risks, implementing proactive measures to minimize disruptions
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company policies across all procurement activities
  • Supports the implementation of global procurement strategies, aligning regional supplier management with corporate objectives
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes, utilizing business intelligence tools and analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Represents procurement in executive meetings and provides strategic input on supply chain initiatives
  • Travels as required, both domestically and internationally, to manage supplier relationships and addresses critical supply chain matters
