Job Description Manage and operate plant equipment to deliver finished goods according to demand and scheduling requirements. Accurately weigh, charge, and record raw material usage, ensuring proper identification and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock rotation. Label, pack, and package final products as directed by batch sheets. Organize and submit QC samples and associated documentation to the laboratory. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and adherence to all Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) and Job Instruction Sheets (JISs). Organize and coordinate work teams, providing effective leadership and supervision to meet production targets. Assist the Factory/Site Manager with production planning tasks. Ensure the safe and responsible operation of all production equipment, carrying out routine cleaning and minor preventative repairs. Manage the preparation of equipment for external servicing, coordinating contractors, and filing all necessary work permits and documentation. Champion compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental requirements and maintain high housekeeping standards at all times. Actively assist in and recommend improvements related to safety, health, environment, quality, and productivity across the site. Qualifications Proven experience managing teams and ensuring rigorous compliance with strict WHS rules, regulations, and reporting standards. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, supervise, motivate, and mentor a production workforce. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using an ERP system (SAP exposure is highly desirable). Previous experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment (highly desirable). Exceptional time management, organization, and administrative skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to work autonomously and lead by example with a respectful, hands-on approach.
