We are looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader to work for our Dudley Sanctuary Hub Team
Imagine being part of an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity – and that’s why equity is one of our core values. We draw on the expertise, unique perspectives and lived experience of our people – regardless of who they are or their background – to help us become inclusive and anti-racist employer, campaigning organisation and service provider that reflect the diverse communities we support as a mental health charity.
The Hub is a safe place to turn to for people and their carers who are in need of mental health support or in emotional distress during the evening and weekends.
Our dedicated team are friendly, warm, enthusiastic, reliable, and responsive to individual needs. We are all experienced and trained mental health recovery workers who provide person-centred support. Providing a person centred, holistic and non-stigmatising environment. We take a strength based, focusing on assets, independence, recovery, and social inclusion with no wrong door approach.
The Team Leader will lead a team of up to 6 mental health recovery workers providing supervision, training and mentoring, providing a person-centred approach as part of the holistic recovery plan for mental health service users.
The Team Leader will provide a pivotal role in managing a high quality service that delivered positive outcomes for service users. You will also be required to work directly with all relevant stakeholders: clinical NHS staff, consultant psychiatrists and partner agencies.
