Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Team Leader - Risk and Resolutions, you will lead a small team in the delivery of first line risk and compliance activities and supports effective internal and external dispute resolution processes. You will ensure the day to day execution of risk management practices, incident monitoring and complaint support activities aligned with the Risk Management Framework and regulatory requirements. You will additionally play a key role in building team capability, fostering a proactive risk and resolution culture, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support business decision making.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Maintain the ART Life risk register and support the RCSA process.
  • Monitor and report on risk incidents, emerging risks, and compliance issues.
  • Support implementation of the ART Risk Management Framework and prepare reports for governance forums and committees.
  • Coordinate responses to complaints from AFCA and other regulators, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Oversee Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) activities and contribute to service improvement reporting.
  • Maintain effective dispute resolution frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support complaint resolution.
  • Represent the team in operational meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support audit activities and follow up on risk-related actions.
  • Contribute to risk awareness training and promote a positive risk culture.
