Description

This post holder will join a small care team based in Northampton, supporting A, a 16-year-old girl who sustained a brain injury and has a learning disability. A presents with the mental capacity of a 3-year-old and currently lives at home with her family. She is continuing her rehabilitation journey with the support of a dedicated team of three support workers and ongoing therapy input.
The employer for this post is the Deputy acting on behalf of A.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • NVQ level 2,3, or 4 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (Desirable)
Responsibilities
  • To manage the client rota, including staff leave.
  • To support new staff during their probationary period e.g. shadowing
  • To ensure staff training and safeguarding competencies are up to date with the support of the support manager
  • Ensure care plan, therapy guidelines, and risk assessments are up to date and reviewed regularly with the support of the case management team
  • To respond to and manage any incidents and refer to the case manager when required.
  • To coordinate and support the staff team daily.
  • To oversee the client float and ensure records are sent to the case management team at the end of each month.
  • To disseminate any changes promptly and accurately in clinical care delivery to the rest of the team.
  • To monitor all clinical care needs and liaise with the treating team and case manager
