Responsibilities
  1. Administer the compliance of statutory requirements of land survey data (includes plans, technical descriptions, tenure and
    associated geospatial information) for the registration, assessment, and approval with respect to the relevant legislation,
    policies, standards, practices, and guidelines.
  2. Provide high-level advice and services on the land survey statutory requirements associated with land development,
    administration, tenure, titling, and addressing processes and practices.
  3. Ensure the integrity of land survey data and records are effectively maintained in integrated information system, databases, or
    applications.
  4. Prepare and manage a range of correspondence, reports, or submissions relating to statutory land survey compliance,
    investigations or requirements, reform initiatives, as well as recommendations to approve survey plans or data.
  5. Lead and organise the operations and workings of the Survey Land Records team.
  6. Develop and maintain effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives, undertake
    consultation and engagement, and support implementation of initiatives and new policies.
  7. Effectively participate in Survey Branch initiatives, relevant industry working groups, and assist with the development and
    mentoring of the team’s land information officers.
