Due to staff movements, we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our busy Christchurch branch! With a focus on operational efficiency and building a strong team culture, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be at the centre of all activity. Shift: Monday – Friday 10.00am – 6.30pm About the role - Mō te tūranga As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and direction of freight handling, staff training and related activities to provide quality service to internal and external customers. Key duties include: Staff training and related activities to provide quality service to customers Operate forklifts, unloading & loading of units Develop working relationships with customers Schedule and conduct team briefings daily Ensure all freight are properly identified, re origin and destination Make sure scanning of freight is done properly Actively promote health and safety through daily team huddles What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga? Full Class 1 license – must have Hold a current F and OSH endorsed forklift license – must have A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisor role A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Transport, Freight and Logistics Ability to coach and grow others Your Benefits - Ō Painga A place where we put our people first with priority to promote from within.
