The Leadership You Will Bring
Steer the trajectory of impactful change as a Team Leader in our Justice-Supported Accommodation Service. In this role, you’ll provide supervision, support, and guidance to the Case Management team, while actively engaging in intake, assessment, and case management.
This service provides supported accommodation and psychosocial support to individuals released on bail or parole. We work with people experiencing homelessness or housing instability, often alongside complex needs such as mental health challenges, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, and other social or legal barriers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring productive relationships are demonstrated by the team and contribute to quality team performance and team wellbeing
  • Creating and implementing professional development plans for the team to improve capability and service delivery
  • Ensuring staff members have a clear understanding of their role and what is expected of them
  • Undertake assessment with the client to develop a shared understanding of their situation and related problems and strengths

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Alice Springs, NT. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 6 Award.

The Ideal Candidate Would Have

  • Degree level qualification in social services, community development, or a related discipline and/or extensive, demonstrated experience working in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging homeless persons and willingness to assist in the provision of support in the areas of homelessness, alcohol and other drug dependence, and mental health issues
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience managing staff and budgets
  • A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • A current NT driver’s license
