Description

Are you an experienced Team Leader in the legal field? As our Sales & Purchases Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing and motivating the team, overseeing case work, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services. You’ll guide your team through the property sale and purchase process, supporting solicitors and residents during one of the most important moments in their lives.
You don’t need a legal qualification to succeed in this role - what matters most is a strong administrative and leadership background, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage workloads while supporting your team.

THE PERSON

We’re looking for someone with a strong administrative background and proven experience in leading people and managing workloads, ideally in a legal, property, or other service-driven environment.

While you don’t need a legal qualification, you’ll bring:

  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a busy team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to work with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Legal Knowledge: A solid understanding of legal principles and procedures relevant to this specific area of law
  • Attention to Detail: Confidence in overseeing processes from start to finish.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse complex legal issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Integrity: A willingness and ability to do the right thing, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities

As Sales & Purchases Team Leader, you’ll combine hands-on casework with leadership responsibilities. You’ll manage and motivate your team, oversee workloads, and ensure high-quality legal services are delivered efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Client Communication: Interacting with clients and solicitors, providing updates, and addressing concerns.
  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conducting research, analysing case facts, and preparing accurate legal documents.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in legal processes and implementing solutions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the Legal and Finance teams to resolve complex queries and ensure smooth operations.
