WHO WE ARE:

At Unisson Disability, we are solid in our belief that no one should be defined by their disability.
We are passionate about enabling people with disability to live their best lives, in a world that can feel more restrictive for them than for others. We’ve been around for 99 years – no mean feat in this dynamic sector! The double S in our name is no typo either – you’ll get used to it, it’s a reference to our previous name ‘Sunshine’, a legacy for our groundbreaking founder, Dr Lorna Hodgkinson.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a team of disability support professionals in delivering high-quality, personalised support services to our clients. The responsibilities of the position include:
Managing two sites located in Putney and Normanhurst, which includes the sites being well presented, well maintained and meeting compliance standards.
Lead the development, implementation, and review of each client’s comprehensive person-centred plan.
Ensure the record keeping and documentation at each house is complete and accurate and in accordance with Unisson Disability’s policies and procedures and relevant Client Management System.
Where required participate in processes related to the use of Restricted Practices.
Provide support to clients to prepare for and attend NDIS Plan Review meetings, ensure all relevant support documentation and evidence is available and attend to actively participate or advocate for the client.
Maintain and continuously improve staff skills through observation, feedback, and coaching.
Ensure continuity of service through planned staff leave and timely recruitment of new staff in collaboration with the Scheduling Team and the Human Resources Team.
