ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

Responsibilities

The Team Leader is responsible to provide leadership and direction to a team of VPS3 staff who are responsible for managing and monitoring the workforce management system to ensure business targets are achieved. This is achieved through balancing staffing levels with forecasted work volume demands and tracking any impacts to this including mitigation strategies used to combat these.
The position includes analysing results vs. forecasts, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions to achieve business goals and renter and key stakeholder expectations. The role is responsible in providing reporting, navigating and manipulating PowerBI dashboards and other adhoc reporting. The position oversees the management of staff leave planning and tracking, managing staff levels, and identification of staffing trends to the relevant managers.
The Workforce Planning Team Leader supports the Data and Insights Manager to provide reporting and analysis to the Housing Call Centre (HCC) and key services partners. The position will provide timely and responsive data and analysis to inform maintenance processes and identification of potential efficiencies in maintenance spending across the department.
In addition to these tasks, you will also contribute to the overall management through participation as part of the HCC Leadership Team, contributing to decision making with regards to the HCC future development and departmental strategies.
