Description
The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is crucial in maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards while fostering a collaborative work environment. 1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. 2. Lead and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols. 3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage stock replenishment. 4. Conduct regular training sessions for team members on warehouse practices, safety, and equipment use. 5. Utilize LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order fulfilment. 6. Operate and instruct others on the use of RF scanners for inventory management and order picking. 7. Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies including daily stock reconciliation with inbound and outbound record. 8. Analyse operational performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement. 9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and fulfilment. 10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. 11. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). 12. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment. 13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. 14. Handle and resolve employee issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner. 15. Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for management review. #LI-NA1
