Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Team Leader at WAF2, you will play a key role in leading operational activity across the fulfilment centre. While your primary focus will be supporting the Trade function, this position is intentionally broad to allow flexibility and support across other areas of the operation when needed.
You will take ownership of outbound despatch processes, manage courier coordination (including through the Lockwoods courier portal), and ensure consistent high standards in daily workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support a team to ensure smooth operational workflows
  • Oversee outbound despatch processes, including courier bookings
  • Coordinate all courier bookings via Lockwoods’ portal
  • Liaise with drivers and warehouse operatives to meet despatch deadlines
  • Ensure all orders are packed and ready for timely collection
  • Act as the go-to contact for courier issues and resolution
  • Support and motivate the team to meet performance standards
  • Maintain accurate records and escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and despatch protocols
  • Support cross-functional training and operational flexibility
  • Provide hands-on support to meet daily operational targets
