ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for ensuring the fleet workshop is a safe, well-maintained workplace and that the day-to-day operations of Council’s fleet maintenance and repair activities are safe efficient and appropriately resourced.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRE TO PERFORM THE ROLE

• Lead staff responsible for Council’s day-to-day fleet maintenance, servicing and repair activities.
• Supervise Council’s fleet workshop operations and staff.
• Identify opportunities for fleet efficiency.
• Support the Coordinator Waste Services to develop Council’s annual fleet replacement program,
• Manage fleet consumables ordering, supplies and storage.
• Ensure all fleet servicing, maintenance and repair information is accurately captured in Council’s corporate system (Assetic)
