Herefordshire County Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker at Team Manager level to lead a vital assurance project within Adults Social Care. This short-term contract focuses on auditing case files to assess the quality and effectiveness of frontline practice.

As Team Manager – Audits, you will:

• Lead a comprehensive case file audit process reviewing 100 cases
• Identify strengths and areas for improvement in service delivery
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance practices and ensure accountability to service users, the public, and stakeholders
• Help shape a detailed report that will support service development and improvement

This is a key role contributing directly to enhancing the quality and accountability of social care services in Herefordshire.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration (HCPC or equivalent)
• Experience working at senior or Team Manager level within Adults Social Care
• Strong knowledge of case auditing and quality assurance processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify actionable insights
• Effective communication skills to deliver clear reports and recommendations
