ABOUT US Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. What You'll Do: We are looking for a Team Manager at our Hemmant site, who is experienced with providing strong operations leadership to a team of frontline workers, whilst developing skillsets in the team and supporting other site leaders. You would manage and coordinate all processes and activities during the shift to deliver outstanding customer service. Roster: Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 1:30am  Essential Functions  * Planning and controlling KPI performance of a team, and managing all aspects of labour  * Maintaining compliance to health and safety and driving a safety culture  * Coordinating and managing work with sub-contractors and internal departments  * Managing employee performance and creating development pathways    What Experience and Education You Need: Ideally you are someone who has exceptional attention to detail and who prides themselves on being deadline oriented and can maintain a high level of productivity. * Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience. * Demonstrated experience in managing large teams. * Knowledge of distribution operations. * Strong people management skills. * Cross-functional leadership with multiple teams. * Experience in effective decision-making in a fast-moving business environment.    What Could Set You Apart: * Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. * Ability to communicate effectively with variety of individuals * Ability to reason, negotiate, instruct, persuade, or speak with others * Ability to pay close attention to detail. * Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff.   Physical Requirements & Abilities:   The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.   Work Environment   The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
